Thank you to all of you who have given us such great feedback on our free and  fabulous  Be the Queen of Calm, Cool & Collected!

Thought we would share  tip #25, one of the fast favourites…

Relief in the palm of your hands.  Seeing double from staring at technology for too long?   Try yoga for your eyes.   Truly, there is a little yoga exercise for your eyes called ‘palming’.  Try this:

  • Rub the palms of your hands together, fast, until you feel heat build up between them.
  • Close your eyes and quickly press your warmed hands over your eyes gently for a few seconds.

Repeat 5 times to ease the tiredness and muscle tension around your eyes

Feeling stuck and the comfy sofa

woman reclining1

Feeling “Stuck”  often feels like a comfy sofa.

That’s right, you know the feeling. You never want to move.  Yes, of course you moan and complain that it’s uncomfortable (perhaps a spring is poking through), but there you sit anyway, curled up snuggly wuggly and enduring the discomfort.  Isn’t that strange…

What will make you get unstuck and your butt off that sofa? Remember we’re talking about being stuck in your life here, not stuck on the old sofa.

Well, you might think a health scare would do it, but nope.

Not envy that others are getting ahead while you’re busy sofa-sitting, nope.

No, you sit there comfy in your whinge because…and this is HUGE…

you don’t believe in yourself!

Whoa, now that got your attention on the sofa didn’t it!

Your battle cries are “I can’t”, “it’s not the right time for me”,  “I’m just not like other people”, “it’s too late for me”,  “it’s too soon for me”.

Excuse after comfy excuse is the language of stuck.

So how do you become Unstuck? (and there’s probably an indignant tone in your voice to this question isn’t there?)

My reply to you is…Just move. Get up and go ‘do’ something.  Stop thinking about it and just get down to it. How many more ways can I encourage you to become unstuck?  I know…

Now here’s a concept you will never get when you’re stuck curled up on your sofa.

Getting unstuck means you…Risk being wrong. Enjoy being surprised.  Become curious.  Decide to decide.  Learn to laugh.  Become creative.  Breathe in newness.  Learn to trust. Feel alive.  Embrace Life.  Live in Full Colour.

Come on, your life is waiting…get tempted!

How you define ‘happy’ is key

I was thunderstruck when I read this…

I remember being asked this question in Happiness Now (Robert Holden) and it really struck a chord with me.  The way you read it can be life changing.  See what you think and where you can tweak your life.  Thank you Robert Holden.

What was your answer, there are 2 options and I truly believe each reflects the way we approach our daily lives. My answer made me happy!…

Happiness is nowhere
